Do I have to be a White Dress Society Member to attend The Retreat?
Yes, membership is required for attendance. This retreat is TWDS members-only — not to be exclusive, but to ensure that the community you build during the retreat lasts all year long. It makes the room safer, the conversations deeper, and the experience richer. Trust us — it’s worth it.

If I am interested in sharing a room during The Retreat to cut down on cost, can you assist?
What is the recommended dress code?
We recommend stylish, but comfortable. The schedule will allow for a brief wardrobe change prior to our evening activities. We will provide a style guide as we get closer to the retreat.
Are meals provided in the registration fee?
Registration includes 3 days of educational sessions, time with fellow attendees and hosts to connect, brainstorm ideas together, and refuel your soul. Not every meal is included but the majority are. Here is what meals are included:

Monday, November 9th: Lunch, cocktails, heavy apps
Tuesday, November 10th: Breakfast and lunch
Wednesday, November 11th: Breakfast, lunch, and dinner
Note: Coffee, water, and soft drinks will be available throughout the day each day.
Do you limit attendee registration based on geographic location?
Although we are firm believers in community over competition, we do understand that you may not want to attended an intimate conference with your direct competitor, especially as our focus will be on updating your brand, marketing and website and creating competitive advantages to attract your target bride. Registration is available on a first come, first served basis and a 100-mile territory protection is granted to each attendee. We will also ask that all attendees sign an NDA to protect privacy and facilitate sharing of ideas.
For traveling purposes, what time does The Retreat begin and end?
The retreat begins on Monday, November 9th at 10am (note: Nashville is on Central Time) so we recommend arriving to Nashville by Sunday the 8th, please plan your travel accordingly. We will have 3 full days of retreat content (Monday, Nov 9th through Wednesday, Nov 11th) so plan to travel home on Thursday, November 12th to be able to make the most of your time at the retreat.
Is the registration fee refundable?
Because of the all inclusive nature of the retreat, we are unable to offer refunds after registration. Registrations are non-refundable but are transferrable to another bridal store owner with the approval of The White Dress Society team.
